How do I send a check to my account?      

Check should always be made payable to Newedge USA, LLC

The check should always include the following information:

  • Your Account Number
  • Your Account Type(securities or futures)
  • If you have both a securities and futures accounts, we will deposit the check into your securities account unless otherwise indicated.

    All checks received prior to 12:00 pm Pacific Time will be posted to your account the same day. Checks received after 12:00 pm Pacific Time will be posted the following business day.

    Check deposits are subject to verification of funds. If we are unable to verify funds, we may hold your check deposit up to 10 business days. No trades or withdrawals are allowed while the funds are on hold.

    NO THIRD PARTY CHECKS CAN BE ACCEPTED! (The only exception to this would be funds sent or being received from another financial institution)

    How do I make an IRA contribution?      

    IRA contributions may be made by check or wire.

    Checks should be sent to:

    Newedge USA customers can access incoming wire transfer information by going to Account Info Logon and entering their account number and password.

    Third party wire transfers will not be accepted.

    Please indicate type and/or tax year your contribution is for.

    PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHECKS AND PAPERWORK TO PRINCIPAL TRUST COMPANY.

    How do I withdraw money out of my IRA account?      

    To withdraw money out of IRA accounts, you will need to complete an IRA Distribution form and mail with original signature to Newedge USA, LLC, Attn: IRA Department.

    Incoming

    Transferring in Full or Partial IRA accounts from another IRA custodian to Newedge USA, will require an "ACAT IRA Transfer Form" along with your most recent monthly statement. A "Principal Transfer In Authorization Letter Form" may be used for non-ACAT eligible institutions only.

    Outgoing

    Transferring out Full or Partial IRA accounts to another IRA custodian from Newedge USA, will require a transfer request form from the new custodian with original signature and medallion stamp signature guaranteed. A "Principal Transfer Out Authorization Letter Form" may be used for non-ACAT eligible institutions only. Note: A faxed copy of the transfer form is acceptable, only if it is signature guaranteed and the original is mailed to Newedge USA, LLC. Processing takes approximately three business days for the funds to be sent.

    How do I wire funds into my account?      

    Newedge USA customers can access incoming wire transfer information by going to Account Info Logon and entering their account number and password.

    If you have both a securities and futures accounts, we will credit your securities account unless otherwise indicated.

    Third party wire transfers will not be accepted.

    All wires received by 3:00 pm PT will be processed.

    We advise you to check your Newedge USA account the next business day to confirm the availability of the funds.

    How do I request funds from my account?
