Splits and Mergers
It is the policy of Newedge USA, LLC to list the publicly traded options of an acquired company on the PreferredTrade options montage under the symbol of the acquiring company. Example: JDSU acquired ETEK. PreferredTrade options tab will list KHE options under JDSU, the acquiring company. KHE options do not represent 100 shares of JDSU. KHE options represented 100 ETEK and now represent number of shares of JDSU pursuant to the terms of the merger. See http://www.cboe.com/tools/splt&mrg.htm for contract details regarding splits and mergers. You are responsible to know the terms of each contract you buy and/or sell.
