Level II

PreferredTrade 6.2 includes Level II quotes that are available to customers as a paid subscription. Each subscribed user can have up to five Level II windows running concurrently. Users that are not subscribed to Level II will be unable to access this feature. Call customer service at 888-781-0283 or email Service@NewedgeGroup.com for information on how to access Level II quotes.

Level II quote windows can be opened in two ways:

1. Select the Quotes->Level II Quotes menu item from the main window.
2. Left mouse click on a symbol in the Watch List window.

The Level II window has scroll bars on the bid and ask sides, allowing the user to see all of the Market Makers for the selected symbol.

Level II quotes can be sorted by:

A left mouse click on a bid or ask column item will open a trade entry screen with the default volume and selected price.

A left mouse click on bid size or ask size column item will open a trade entry screen with the selected size and price.

The Level II Window:

Request
Pressing the Request button will retrieve the Level II data for the particular stock symbol.
Sorting Priority
The sorting priority may be by price then time (default) or Price and then size.
Level II Tables
On the Bid Side include (MPID, Bid, Ask) on the Ask Side include (MPID, Ask, Size) 10 to 15 Deep - This window is sizable and there will be vertical sliders if the number of market makers exceeds the amount of room in the window.
Color Scheme
There will be a color scheme for the different price depth levels. Yellow for the first level, Light Green for the second level, Turquoise for third level, Rose for the forth level, White for the Rest.
Clicking on Bid from Level II
Loads a Sell Order using the users Default Size quantity into default order entry.
Clicking on Ask from Level II
Loads a Buy Order using the users Default Size quantity into default order entry.
Clicking on Bid Size from Level II
Loads a Sell Order using the Bid Size quantity into default order entry.
Clicking on Ask Size from Level II
Loads a Buy Order using the Ask size quantity into default order entry.
