First-time Login to PreferredTrade
Remove/Upgrade PreferredTrade 6 from your system

View/Print Installation Instructions

Note: This application will not run on Windows 95.

1. Begin the installation. Install PreferredTrade 6
Select the "Run this program from its current location". See step 2.
If you wish to download to your desktop select "Save this program to disk".
Save in Desktop.

Preferred ProTrader icon will appear on your desktop.
Double-click on the icon for the installation wizard extracts the necessary files.

2. Extracting files to your hard drive
Please wait until the files have been extracted to your hard drive.
If Microsoft's .Net needs to be installed this can take 5 - 60 minutes depending on your connection. (20MB)

3. Reboot
If you see the following dialog please reboot your system: 

4. Windows Installer
Preparing the installation wizard. This window will appear next or after you have rebooted your system. 

5. Welcome to PreferredTrade Installation Wizard
Close all windows programs and select "Next".

6. User Information
Enter Name and Organization and select "Next".

7. Destination Folder
Choose your destination folder and select "Next".

8. Ready to Install PreferredTrade
Last chance to reenter the installation information. Select "Next" to install PreferredTrade.

9. Updating System
The PreferredTrade software is currently being installed.

10. PreferredTrade successfully installed
Select "Finish".

PTClient  icon will appear on your desktop.
Double-click on the icon to log into PreferredTrade 6.
